Permanent Secretary of the state Ministry for Special Duties Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Kabarai has handed over the mantle of affairs of the outfit to his successor Comrade Uwani Ahmed Balarabe at a brief ceremony held in the office
Speaking, Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Kabara who recalled the prophetic saying for anything is time appointed when the time is due you cannot drag leg enjoined the staffers to accord her all the necessary support so as to attain her set mandate
He pointed out that Government is a continuous process as according to him soldiers go and soldiers come and nothing will stop or rather change
He explained that transfer, retirement, posting and redeployment and God forbid sometime dismissal are all routine exercises as far as Government is concerned
He posited that the triumph he recorded during his stay at the ministry if any was as a result of the unflinching support he garnered from fellow Staffers hence he solicited for same to her with a view to achieving desired goals
Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Kabara contended that his stay in the ministry will remain evergreen in the annals of history as quite enjoyable,peaceful and joyful
The out gone permanent secretary who now moved to the Ministry of Rural Development in a similar role, thanked one and all in that respect hoping the tempo will be sustained
Alhaji Ibrahim Mohammed Kabara who spoke in an emotion ladden voice, called for repentance from fellow colleagues wherever he offended someone knowingly or unknowingly in the course of work as he forgave all
Responding, Comrade Uwani Ahmed Balarabe explained that as a novice in the system she would always knock on his door for necessary support , cooperation likewise clarification when the need arises being partners in progress and after all a phrase says experience is the best teacher
She extolled him over his level of openness , intermingling and kind-heartedness
pledging to apply the same magic wand he used in order to achieve an array of successes
Others who spoke at the gathering comprise the Director Administration and General Services of the Ministry Malam Shehu Sani Shehu
Tense of the occasion was the presentation of hand over notes to the newly assigned Permanent Secretary by the out gone
