Preparations are in top gear towards the conduct of Local Government Polls in neighbouring Kaduna State
Reports from the former provincial capital of the northern state indicated that all arrangements have almost been completed towards the conduct of the nineteenth October Elections
It added that all political parties in the state have renewed interest towards full participation in the Election which will determine who steer the affairs of the activities of the twenty three Local Government Councils in the north western state for the next three years
The story added that the major quagmire lies with the eye brows raised on the impartiality stance of the Chairperson of the state Independent Electoral Commission Hajara Muhammad by some of the participating parties hence called for her immediate removal
They even threatened to file a suit on the matter if the authorities concerned failed to do the needful on the complaint
Kaduna if one could recall,has been one of the most volatile states during Elections on recent occasions in view of the existing arch rivalry between the two major political parties including the ruling APC and PDP
Despite effort being taken to ensure peace reign supreme during such conduct by security operatives sometimes level of apprehension across the length and breadth of the state was being experienced
