State Chairman of Academic Staff Union of Secondary Schools,ASUSS Comrade Abdul Usman Yalo, has described Governor Abba Kabiru Yusuf as saviour of Education
Comrade Yalo, made the assertion in an interaction with Periscope On line
He pointed out that Engiineer Abba Kabir Kabiru Yusuf should be given a pat on the back over recent his strides in the field among them payment of NECO Examination fee for students of state native numbering over one hundred thousand who scored four credits and above in their NECO Qualifying Examination
He described the benevolence as marvelous as it was coming when there was insinuation on the massive failure in the Examination
Comrade Abdul Usman Yalo explained that his seriousness clearly showed that his vision in declaring state of emergency in Education was not a gimmick
Comrade Yalo urged the Governor to prioritize training and retraining of personnels both academic and non academic as well renovation of infrastructure across urban and rural areas so as to be at par with other developed societies
The ASuSS Chairman however prayed to God to enrich with additional good advisers and guide him in the campaign to make Kano first among equals in that direction as according to him provision of Education is the yardstick of measuring socio economic development of any community
He called on parents to recuperate the gesture through monitoring the movement of their children likewise siding with the ruling party during future elections as a phrase says kindness begets kindness
Turning to the beneficiaries he enjoined them to read hard with a view to passing the exams with flying colours
This he said will encourage the administration in diverting additional resources to the sector in due course
Comrade Yalo who said with the effort the Governor has proved his detractors wherever they are wrong, charged teaching staffers to redouble zeal in guiding their students not minding what they are collecting as remuneration as their reward lies in the heaven according to a proverb
The Chairman seized the chance to call on Educational bodies in the state to join hands with the current administration in the campaign to reinvigorate the field
Comrade Yalo maintained that in their position as stakeholders, they Wii continue to give advice where necessary with a view to ensuring speedy progression as according to him a tree cannot make forest
