Kano State Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, on Saturday attended the wedding Fatiha of Rabiu Sale Kausani and Aisha Aminu Sabo in Bauchi State, serving as _Waliyi_ of the groom.
The marriage, conducted in line with Islamic rites, took place at the palace of the District Head of Chinkani, Alhaji Abdulkadir Bello, in Chinkani town, Giade Local Government Area.
The district head also acted as _Waliyi_ of the bride.Rabiu is the son of Hon. Saleh Kausani Wudil, former Kano State Commissioner for Transport.
A dowry of N200,000 was paid to solemnise the union, with family members, friends and well-wishers in attendance to offer prayers for the couple.
Speaking at the event, Garo congratulated both families and prayed for Allah’s blessings on the newly-wed.
He also stressed the sanctity of marriage, urging the couple to uphold love, tolerance and responsibility in their union.
