The Kano State Government has reaffirmed its commitment to partnering with the organised private sector to promote policies and initiatives aimed at improving the ease of doing business, attracting investment, and driving industrial growth.
The Acting Commissioner for Investment, Commerce, Industry and Cooperative, Alhaji Abubakar Bello Gwarzo, stated this during the Annual General Meeting of the National Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (NACCIMA).
The meeting, hosted by the Kano Chamber of Commerce, Industry, Mines and Agriculture (KACCIMA), took place at the Coronation Hall, Government House, Kano, on Wednesday.
Gwarzo described collaboration between the government and the private sector as critical to economic prosperity, job creation, and poverty reduction.
He urged participants to explore opportunities that would harness the state’s abundant resources, promote local industries, and expand both domestic and international markets.
The acting commissioner also called on stakeholders to use the forum to generate innovative ideas and provide strategic direction for strengthening the nation’s economy.
