The tactician cited unavoidable reasons as secret behind the action he took in vacating the position
The former Technical Head of the Club maintained that despite calling it quit his door will always remain open for offering useful guidance to the club with a view to attaining spelt our goals and objective
Usman Sharif Abdullah used the medium to thank the state Government and Management of the team over the full support and cooperation accorded him in carrying his plans in boosting the name of the team
The former Gaffer who was full of praise to the fan base of Sai Masu Gida over their unalloyed backing said he will highly missed them over their words of encouragement whenever the chips were down
The Tactician once guided Enyimba of Aba,Katsina United before assuming the headship of the pyramid City Lads during the just ended football season He helped the team in garnering Fifty three points from thirty eight matches hence finishing ninth on the log unlike last year that the ancient city side survived narrowly
Coach Usman Sharif Abdullah whose announcement came unexpected vowed to continue to be an ardent supporter of the club
Certainly the development to a section of the club lovers came as a big surprise as it was just of recent the season ended and the team is presently on short break wondering how he took step
While to a cross sectio such action was normal as they have seen it coming going by the intricacies that happened before his appointment and his recent suspension due to a minor squabble that ensued between him and a group of supporters and his reinstatement after some weeks
While to others they said it will not be unconnected with the planned reorganisation of the team by present administration in view of its lackadaisical performance in the premiership year in year out despite the millions of Naira being injected by the Government but still much is needed to return the club to where it belongs in the soccer map of the country
This according to them prompted him to take the bold step to stay aside in view of his principles and reputable image in the round leather game
