Some couples of weeks ago,Super Eagles skipper Ahmed Musa while holding his maiden Media briefing as General Manager of the side said they would sooner than later appoint a Tactician to run the technical aspect of the side
The pledge he made was redeemed as the team have finally resolved to hand its technical aspect to no other person than Gaffer Evans Ogenyi
Without much ado the reappointment is something to cheer about going by who the Tactician is
Definitely ,Mr Evans Ogenyi is someone that is no stranger as far as the activities of KanoPillars is concerned
He is well known by soccer lovers especially fans of the beloved club across the length and breadth of the ancient city as this is not the first time he was saddled with such a herculean task of steering the club affairs
If one could remember when last the team was demoted to the lower cadre ,it was the Benue born Coach that was ordered the responsibility of overseeing the affairs of the side hence he succeeded in returning back to where they belong in just a year
It will never be a story to say that Mr Ogenyi has vast experience in the round leather game in view of how he previously managed the technical aspect of neighbouring Jigawa Golden Stars ,Lobi Stars as well Rivers United before he called it quit just some months ago
Optimistically,as the top flight is set to commence sooner that later we are certain that the Tactician Will do the needful in ensuring the Kano darling team return to its rightful place in the Nigerian domestic scene as lam confident that he will receive the full backing of the management under the duo of Skipper Ahmed Musa and Ali Nayara Maisamba likewise his determined assistants under Ahmed Yaro Yaro Zagalo and above all players and supporters of the pyramid City team who lam sure they are solidly behind the laudable reappointment of the Chief Coach
On the part of the fourth estate of the realm lam unequivocally sure they would accord their unalloyed support thorough reporting lapses and how best to correct such loopholes which is the best affection you could show to one you admire the most particularly at this period that the apposition will be intense but on the other way round healthy going by recent development in the state
Thus as the premiership is some weeks away it is our fervent wish that the reappointed Gaffer will prove his mettle as he once did recently as the ball is now in his court
