The delegation made the commendation when it visited the office of the Deputy Governor, Alhaji Murtala Sule Garo, to express appreciation to the governor for the initiative.
Receiving the delegation, Deputy Governor Garo expressed delight over the development, describing the land allocation as a positive and encouraging initiative aimed at supporting young people in the state.
He explained that the exercise was conducted in strict adherence to established procedures, assuring those who were yet to benefit that they would be accommodated in subsequent allocations.
“The exercise was conducted in strict adherence to established procedures, and those yet to benefit should exercise patience and be rest assured that they would be included in subsequent allocations.
“Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration remains committed to ensuring that all eligible beneficiaries are accommodated.”
The Deputy Governor also cautioned beneficiaries against selling the allocated plots without genuine justification, urging them to make proper use of the opportunity for the intended purpose.
He assured the delegation that he would convey their appreciation to Governor Yusuf, whom he commended for the initiative and his commitment to youth development in Kano State.
Earlier, the leader of the delegation, Comrade Salmanu Rabiu Gwarzo, said the visit was to express gratitude to Governor Yusuf, through the Deputy Governor, for the gesture.
Gwarzo said youths from the old APC had contributed significantly to the progress and success of the party across the 44 local government areas of the state.
He recalled that Governor Yusuf had continued to recognise and accommodate members of the old APC, beginning with councillors and extending the gesture to youths who, he said, played important roles in strengthening the party at the grassroots.
He also appreciated Deputy Governor Garo for facilitating the land allocation, noting that a significant portion of the plots was allocated to beneficiaries in the Dawanau and Panisau layout areas.Kano Youths Commend Gov Yusuf Over Land Allocation
