Karaye local government of Kano State has introduced buses for transporting female students to their respective schools freely.
The Director Personal Management of the local government Aminu Bello Ƙaraye who disclosed this said, the measure is a compliment of the Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf’s administration commitments towards supporting girls child education.
Aminu Bello maintained that, the phase one of the scheme, a bus has been provided for conveying female students to their respective secondary schools within Karaye town the headquarters of the local government.
The Director Personal Management assured that, additional buses would soon be provided to cater for the implementation of exercise in the major towns and villages in the area.
The Director said, the local Administration would remain committed towards harnessing public resources in their maximum benefit.
Appealing to people of the area to fully cooperate with the administration to attain the optimum result.
He Optimized that the present administration is vowed to serve the good people of Kano State better than ever.
