On Thursday the 17th of April, a gathering of former Kano pillars Executives and Fans was called at NUJ press Centre
The purpose of the meeting was to interact on the challenges facing the club and proffer remedy as a phrase says there earlier the better
Among those that graced the occasion include Alhaji Tukur Babangida, Abba Galadima and Surajo Johnbull
All the three and other ardent fans of the club likewise chief coach Abdul Maikaba presented astonishing speeches before the gathering on the club and how best things will normalize as things are getting worse and the soccer season, is fast approaching to an end in barely eight weeks
Convening the crisis meeting is quite commendable as it allowed lovers of the club an avenue to thoroughly discuss on its recent shortcomings and how best to reverse the trend before they went out of hand
But to my own understanding all the explosion made on the team, players and officials or rather the chief coach on the regression of the club should be laid to rest as of now
This became highly imperative as the top flight is at the tail end of conclusion
Thus the bombshell particularly on the alleged amount squandered by the leadership from last October to date on the team’s expenses which has been the major topic of discussion among lovers of club should be kept mute in the best interest of the club and fairness
This was as a result of the fact that elongating the issue may not take the club anywhere rather than jeopardizing their chances of scaling relegation hurdles in view of the precarious condition the club is occupying at present which is ninth position on the log
My call here is lets bygone be bygone until the season ends when If Government wish should conduct major reshuffllement for the good of the club and teeming fans
But for now it is belated due to time constraint and the intricacies involve in doing so Definitely it will be better to douse the tension so as to forge ahead and allow peace to reign
Certainly sowing the seed of discord at this material time will not be advantageous to the former premier league Kingoins but worsen situation
