The death of over one hundred and fifty persons as a result of fire incidence in Majia town of Taura local government area in Jigawa State had been described as a great loss to the Nation
The description was made by the Executive Chairman of Roni Local Government Area Hon. Abba Ya’u Roni in a condolence message sent to the Executive Governor of Jigawa State Alhaji Umar Namadi Danmodi,and the People of Majia and Taura Local government area,stressing that the People of Roni Local Government are deeply worried with this sad news over this tragedy which led to loss of lives and leave many injured.
” This incidence really shocked us and would be too difficult to forget considering the magnitude of the lives involved”, stated Hon Abba Ya’u Roni
The Chairman said “On behalf of the people of Roni Local Government we pray to Allah to prevent future occurrence.
He likewise pray to Allah Subhanahu Wata’ala to grant the souls of the deceased Jannatul Firdausi and also pray for immediate recovery of the injured ones.
