MATAN (Motivation Action Towards Achieving Nutrition) Food Bank Foundation is a non-profit organization dedicated to fighting hunger, malnutrition lol and improving food security in Nigeria.It focused on combating hunger and malnutrition across the country.
The founder and visionary leader of MATAN Food Bank Foundation is Ambassador (Dr.) Olakunle Moses Johnson,who serves as the National President with core focus on grassroot food security, poverty alleviation and Agricultural supply chain automation all over Nigeria.
Head of MATAN Media Desk a veteran Journalist also former Chairman Kano State Council of the Nigeria Union Of Journalists, Comrade Ismaila Ammai Maizare who disclosed this in media chat in kano to create awareness on the all important humanitarian projects stated that eatery centers will be put in place at ward and local government levels to cater for the needy persons.
Comrade Ismaila Ammai Maizare explained that according to the standard operations by the directive of the projects National steering committee, MATAN daily mandate is to procure,store, process and to release food for feed.
