Former Vice President Architect Muhammad Namadi Sambo has described as untrue the story in some quarters that he ditched the opposition PDP
This was contained in statement by his mouthpiece Umar Sani Sambo and made available to Newsmen
He explained that the picture making the between him and Governor Uba Saniwas snapped when the later paid him a condolence visit in Abuja over the death of his son
He stressed that he remained a bonafide and full fledged member of the PDP either thick or thin
The former number two citizen added that fact his blossom friend Sani Sidi and his supporters left for the ruling APC did not mean that he join the party
The former Vice President that he was present at the inauguration of some projects executed by Kaduna State by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu which according to him his attendance,has nothing to do with his loyalty to a party of his choice
By and large, exiting from the opposition to the ruling party in Nigerian context is not a common phenomenon going by what has been transpiring just of recent across parts of the country
This is evident going by how the running mate of the leading opposition party in the country during 2023 polls Nnamdi Okowa defected to the ruling APC likewise some Governors,Senators and House of Representatives Members for their selfish ends
