Over 51616 children below five years were vaccinated against polio in the just concluded exercise in Warawa Local government area.
The area’s primary health care coordinator, Malam Abdulhamid Danjuma Dawakin Tofa stated this while presenting the report to the protem chairman of the council, Alhaji Lamido Sunusi Ahmed Garin Dau
The coordinator lauded the council for its level of support and cooperation likewise the broader community
In his address, Alhaji Lamido Sunusi similarly, attributed the success recorded to the effort of traditional leaders and parents urging them to maintain the tempo.
Earlier, Director personal management of the council,Hajiiya Fatima Adamu Barde who was represented by the chief personal officer of the council, Malan Dauda Shehu Zakirai charged the health personel to join hands with the task force in an effort to eradicate the menace of the disease once and for all
In their separate speeches , Malan Abdulhamid Danjuma and the NPI manager Ibrahim Muhammad extolled present administration, donor Agencies and staffers over their wholehearted commitment
