Police in Bauchi have intercepted a trailer loaded with over thirty million Naira goods from Umuahia in Ebonyi State on its way to Kano.
The incident occurred in Mararraba jos Trailer park in Kaduna when the driver of the vehicle went out to bath.
Truck
Thus on his returned, he realized that the vehicle got missing as he did not see it from where it was kept.
Men of the Bauchi police Command were then informed and swung into action and luckily enough they discovered the vehicle and bulk of the items while heading to Bauchi town.
Stolen truck
While speaking on the development, Bauchi State Commissioner of Police Auwalu Musa Muhammad who reiterated their resolve in protecting the lives and properties of the wider public, said the suspect who is responding to questions, will be thoroughly interrogated after which he would be handed over to the judicial arm for prosecution so as to reap what he sow.
The police officer seized the medium in urging the broader majority to always supply them with useful feed back that will facilitate their assignments as according to him upholding peace and concord is a collective effort
