Date for the commencement of Nigeria’s top flight which was earlier scheduled for 22nd of next month has now been extended
A competent source from League Management Company top hierarchy under Davidson Owumi said the competition will now start in October
The statement added the new arrangement was aimed at ensuring proper arrangements and coordination of the ten months long event particularly with the four new sides that just got elevated to the premiership
They include Barau Football Club Kano,Bauchi wikki Tourist,Kun Khalifa of Owerri and Warri Wolves
This , according to the statement will help in tackling any obstacles that may arise before and after the kick off
