Kano State Government has reiterated resolve to work closely with relevant agencies with a view to ensuring speedy development of the state.
The state Commissioner For Environment and Climate Change Rt. Hon. Nasiru Sule Garo disclosed this while exchanging views with Officials from the National Oil Spill Detection and Response Agency who called on him .
He expressed appreciation for the visit describing the present administration of Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf as a progressive government, that doesn’t segregate when it comes to issue of development and projects execution for the benefit of teeming populace.”
Garo assured his ministry readiness to work very closely with the Agency for maximum benefit, adding that his door will remain open for additional collaboration that would add value to the consolidated achievements so far recorded at the ministry.
Earlier, the Zonal Head officer of the outfit in charge of Kano , Malam Muhammad Bushara said there were at the ministry to formally introduce themselves before him and to seek the ministry’s support and cooperation to enable them discharge their mandate effectively and efficiently.
