Minister of State for Housing and Urban Development Abdullahi Tijjani Muhammad Gwarzo says the ministry is working assiduously towards the realisation of President Bola Ahmad Tinubu’s “Renew Hope Agenda” on Housing project countywide.
He disclosed this when he received the executives of Medical and Dental Consultant Association of Nigeria on a courtesy visit
He described the outfit as a critical partner in the provision of decent and healthy houses nationwide.
The Minister revealed that very soon, President Bola Ahmad Tinubu will launch the construction of the “Mega City project” aimed at providing affordable mass housing for all Nigerians.
Alhaji Ahmad Tijjani Gwarzo commended the Association for their foresight in seeking rapport with the ministry and assured his readiness to work with them in ensuring the ends justify the means.
Earlier, the national president of the outfit, Professor Muhammad Aminu Muhammad, told the Minister that they were at his office to intimate him on their activities and evolve ways of mutual ties in the area of provision of affordable, safe and stable houses in accordance with health planning other activities include training of medical students aspiring for Consultantship.
He urged the minister to facilitate allocation of a plot of land in Abuja for them to build their head office.
