Former Premier League Kingpins Kano Pillars Football Club alias Sai Masu Gida are back to the pitch after a month break
An impeccable source from the team made this known to Newsmen in a statement
It added that the resumption became necessary as the top flight will kick start as early as the 22nd of August
While shedding light on the development the Chairman of the Club’s Management Board ,Ali Muhammad Nayara Maisamba,said their return was aimed at keeping them in shape with a view to facing the upcoming season with utmost seriousness , resilience and diligence
He pointed out that their main objective is to reclaim the trophy which they won on four good occasion in the past stressing that with the utmost commitment of action Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf coupled with that of his Deputy, Commissioner of Sports likewise avid fans of the side,their dream will be practicalized
Kano Pillars fondly called Masu Gida by their teeming lovers ,ended the previous competition on the ninth position with 53 points
But despite the fact that the Club will commence practice today they are yet to hire a tactician that would oversee the affairs of the technical Department
But a source that spoke on the matter said they were still searching on who to appoint on the seat as it not a matter of haste but rather steadiness
It maintained that when the time comes the tactician will be unveiled
