Chairman of the Council Hon Suleiman Dan Azumi was speaking while declaring open annual Quranic recitation competition held at Madobi Islamic centre.
He, emphasized its significance in promoting Islamic education and values and, commended the Ql competitors for their zeal and seriousness in that respect hoping they will keep the flag flying The Chairman who described the holy Book as solid foundation for success in life both and hereafter, called on public spirited individuals and corporate bodies to accord support to the initiative in view of lofty reward awaiting those that have done so if not here on earth in the heaven
Malam Suleiman Dan Azumi moreover, encouraged the participants to continue to strive for excellence in their academic and spiritual pursuits, aimed at ensuring they practicalized knowledge acquired aftermath
Speaking Gwani Abdulsalam Abdulqadir a Director Quality Assurance from Kano State Quranic and Islamiyya schools Management Board KSQISMB Said the competition intention was to bring together talented young individuals from various Quranic and Islamiyya schools with a view to showcasing their exceptional skills and eloquence in Qur’anic recitation.
This according to him was beside serving as a platform for fostering love, understanding ,tranquility and mutual trust between people of different backgrounds.
Also speaking the head of the panel of Judges, Gwani Nafi’u Nasir Alhaji who outlined rules and regulations governing the Competition charged the participating pupils to heed to the guidelines.
In his speech the Coordinator of the Competition Madobi branch Malam Idris Mahmoud Commended the adminstration for providing all necessary logistics for the Successful conduct of the exercise .
Idris Mahmoud added that participants were drawn from Quranic and Islamiyya schools in the area to compete from two Hizif, 30 Hizif , with translation,as well as 60 Hizif with tafsir and recitation.
The Coordinator thanked Kano state government Quranic and Islamiyya schools Management Board ,Hisba Personnel and all stockholders who contributed in one way or the other towards the Success of the Competition.and prayed to God to reward them abundantly.
Aisha Hashim Abubakar from Markarz Islamiyya school Madobi emerged winner with 60 Hizif with Translation, tafsir and recitation
Similarly, the Council chairman Hon Suleiman Dan Azumi has welcomed Madobi local government old APC elected Councilors association from 2014 led by Sunusi Kata Madobi.
In another development, Suleiman Dan Azumi has donated patient Cards to Halliru Akilu hospital Madobi.
Speaking the Primary Healthcare Coordinator of the area Hajiya Wasila Muhammad Usman who spoke through her deputy Malam Aliyu Muhammad Kiru called on one and all to copy the benevolence
Responding the officer in charge of the facility, Hajiya Lami Musa expressed her appreciations for the gesture and promised to distribute them judiciously.
