I would like to seize this glaring opportunity to hail the state Governor Engineer Abba Kabir Yusuf for appointing a colleague in the media industry to once again serve in Kano pillars Football Club Management Committee
This was none other than the tireless Rilwanu Idris Malikawa Garu a Sports Commentator and writer with Radio Kano
His reappointment came as something amazing as it was just some years he stepped down as the Team’s mouthpiece
Rightly speaking, as he was given another mandate in the Club, to those that have been with him for decades ,Malikawa is without Oita of doubt known for his dedication to duty, zeal, passion, determination sincerity of purpose , commitment and above all love and affection for the game as his name is ubiquitous in soccer circle wherever you go in Kano and other parts of the country
Thus it is our fervent wish that the new appointee who has been an ardent fan of the club since when it was formed as early as 1990 will redouble effort in that order aimed at bestowing the confidence reposed in him which lam optimistic he would do being a straight forward person
But this would not be achieved without the support and cooperation of his colleagues in the Committee hence the need to work collectively in order to make the club first among equals countrywide as the entire fans of the club are taste of victory
Certainly a phrase says United we stand divided we fall
