Refereeing Development Committee of Nigeria Football Federation has suspended centre referee Abdul Malik from further officiating in the top flight.
This followed his biased officiating when visiting Aibia warriors met host Katsina United at Muhammad Dilkko Stadium Katsina.
Mr Abdul Malik was axed in view of the cancelllation of a legitimate goa scored l by the visitors which caused them the tie as they lost by two goals to one.
It would be recalled that from the commencement of this year’s event to date a number of Referees have been dismissed for reasons that would not be unconnected with bad officiating.
