Nigeria’s Super Falcons have failed in their bid to retain the Women’s African Cup of Nations which they won two years ago in Rabat the Moroccan capital
The Team who had lifted the trophy on ten good occasions lost in the Quarter final of the event against arch rivals Cameroon Lioness by a lone goal in the match played at Casablanca
The Nigerian side had earlier lost to Malawi in their opening game of the event before thrashing Zambia and later Egypt to scale through to the last eight of the tournament where they met their Waterloo against the Central African side
Historically, matches involving Nigeria and Cameroon are usually hectic or rather too difficult to predict
