The Chairman of Tofa Local Government Council, Alhaji Nafi’u Haruna Garba Yarimawa has enjoined Councillors always put people’s interest above other consideration towards sustainable development of the area.
The Vice Chairman, Alhaji Tijjani Bello who represented the Local Government Council Chairman stated this at launch of distribution of working materials for environmental sanitations across the Fifteen wards of the area.
He commended the council chairman efforts and dedication of the stakeholders of the area then assured that the committee’s would supervise how the items will be distributed.
In his welcome address, the council leader of the area, Malam Shehu Halilu Dindere appreciated the gesture and promised to ensure items are distributed accordingly.
Also speaking, the member of the committee, Malam Abdulhamid Isa Yarimawa who spoke on behalf of the beneficiaries said that the items comes at the right time and assured their continues support to achieve the set objective.
