Isyaku Ibrahim
Death, a wise statement says is inevitable as for anyone of us is time appointed and when it is due one cannot wait
This was what occurred barely some days ago to a Woman of the Hour and Woman of substance Malama Surayya Aminu otherwise called Sai Mama in an auto crash along Lokoja Road in Kogi State
Definitely, the death came as a shock and a big blow to one and all created a huge void to the wider domain in view of the deceased openness, straight forwardness, commitment, determination, friendliness and above all joviality
Those that knew her could attest to such sterling attributes of late Surayya Aminu going by the huge turn out at her funeral prayers
Frankly speaking ,I came to know her when she was appointed a senor special assistant during previous administration in the state and where she held the office office at Artv building and being an avid fan of Kano Pillars Football Club,Sai Masu Gida we came so closer
The demised of this consummate woman who always maintained her dignity and culture if one could consider her mode of dressing surely keep me surprising baring in mind a wise word that says death has no calendar take every second to be your last
Profoundly, I was among the last crop of people that saw her along state road on my way reaching home shortly after I visited a friend at ministry of Youths and Sports
We stayed and discussed on matters pertaining socio economic activities not knowing that she was bidding farewell to the larger environment
Despite the fact that everybody want to go to heaven but no one wants to die the passing on of Sai Masu would continue to be remembered not only by members of her immediate family along but also the whole community
Thus our prayers is for God to erase her pitfalls ,lighten her grave and make paradise her final abode
Adeiu Sai Mama
